Setting up the Nile theme

A 5-minute overview: publish the theme, set your colors and fonts, and build your first homepage.

Welcome to Nile. This guide walks you through the essentials so you can go from a fresh install to a polished storefront.

1. In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and make sure Nile is uploaded.
2. Click Customize to open the theme editor.
3. Set your brand colors, fonts and buttons under Theme settings - these cascade to every section. See Global theme settings for a full reference.
4. Build your homepage by adding sections (start with the Hero Banner).
5. Preview on mobile, then click Publish when ready.

tip

Nile uses global color schemes. Define them once in Theme settings, then pick a scheme per section instead of recoloring everything by hand.
